The British Library Business & IP Centre provides free and low-cost resources for people who are thinking of starting a business or who already have and need some support. The Centre is a one-stop-shop for everything business owners need to start up and grow, giving them the chance to upskill, meet like-minded people and learn from those who’ve been there and done it. There is also a network of Centres in a range of City libraries through the UK – so no matter where you are you can receive business support. At the Business & IP Centre you can attend workshops, webinars and big events on everything business-related from starting up social media accounts to making sure your cash-flow is great shape.
From September 2015 Sam Lane Photography was briefed to create a comprehensive library of images that would be used for a variety of digital media to promote workshops, seminars and networking events.
“Over the course of a few sessions we managed to create a really useful stock of images for a variety of purposes: events in full flow, presenters and attendees in action, the Business & IP Centre as a flexible work and meeting space and even images of entrepreneurs at their place of work. Sam delivered this project in a timely and cost-effective manner, and we had a lot of fun with this project too. Sam is the perfect photographer for delivering this type of portfolio – she’s created images that we use time and time again because they are high-quality and perfectly capture the spirit of what we do”
