Polly and Simon – A Fabulously Unique Venue
Polly and Simon are a gorgeous couple who got married in the fabulous unique setting of St Pancras International Station in April 2013.
Polly got ready in the splendid St Pancras Clocktower completing her beautiful mid calf-length dress with superb hot pink Vivienne Westwood shoes. She was walked up the aisle by her father and met Simon near the The Betjeman Statue at the head of the Eurostar terminal with the magnificent Barlow Shed Roof and Dent Clock as back drops.
After the ceremony guests were treated to a champagne reception at Searcy’s Champagne Bar, followed by an afternoon tea topped off with chocolate wedding cake at the St Pancras Grand Restaurant.
Afterwards we escorted the wedding party to nearby Smithy’s restaurant for evening reception, food and dancing to the music provided by the Bride’s DJ brother!
After the wedding a couple of Polly and Simon’s photos were used by Camden Register Office to promote getting married in Camden – and their posters appeared on the cover of the brochure and in a bus-shelter campaign across Camden!
Polly says “We had such a fabulous day – we’d had a pre-wedding shoot at the station and knew we wanted more iconic shots of us as a married couple. It was fun and informal and we were over the moon to see photos of us used in a borough-wide campaign!”
